The purpose of this assignment is to identify organizations in the health sector that meet American Leprosy Mission (ALM)’s criteria for collaboration in addressing neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) in Asia. The focus will be on desk-based research to find potential partners who are aligned with ALM’s mission in regions with a high prevalence of skin NTDs, including leprosy, Buruli ulcer, lymphatic filariasis, and yaws.
The key objective of this assignment was to conduct a comprehensive desk review, systematically identify and map hospitals, NGOs, and networks in regions where ALM is combating skin NTDs, ensure potential partners meet ALM’s inclusion criteria and finally create a Framework for Future Engagement: Develop a structured and scalable methodology to create an initial list of organizations, which can then be further assessed through a separate capacity assessment tool.
We maintain academic standards towards sampling methodologies, in complex and challenging contexts. Our research teams are trained to implement advanced sampling strategies, including standard stratified sampling
